Minutes of Regular Meeting

February 13, 2002

Call to Order

The annual meeting of the Library Board of Trustees was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by Board President Hope Furth. In attendance were Trustees Toni Cox-Burns, Betsy DeSoye, Janet Elmiger, Campbell Geeslin, Don Simmons, Nancy Smith, Library Director Sandra Miranda and Head of Public Services Patricia Thorsen. Absent with notice were Trustees Oliva, and Yanofsky.

Election of Officers

Campbell Geeslin, Chair of the Nominating Committee, moved a slate of officers as follows:

Hope Furth, President and Don Simmons, Secretary, seconded by Janet Elmiger, and approved unanimously by all present with thanks to Mrs. Furth and Mr. Simmons for their excellent service to the Board and the Library.

Adjournment

There being no more business before the Board, the annual meeting was adjourned at 7:10 p.m. on a motion by Trustee Geeslin, seconded by Trustee Elmiger.
