Minutes of Annual Meeting

February 13, 2008

Call to Order

The annual meeting of the Library Board of Trustees was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by Board President P. Lynn Oliva. In attendance were Trustees Denise D’Ambrosio, Hope Furth, Jeane Garment, Howard Hawkins, Timothy James, Paul Schwarz, Julie Trelstad, Library Director Sandra Miranda, Assistant Library Director Patricia Thorsen, and Manager of Children’s Services Rosemary Rasmussen. Absent with notice was Trustee Connors.

Election of Officers

Board President Oliva presented the slate of officers developed by the Nominating Commitee consisting of Trustees Oliva, Furth and Garment as follows: Julie Trelstad, President, and Timothy James, Secretary. On a MOTION by Trustee D’Ambrosio, seconded by Trustee Furth, the Board unanimously approved the slate as presented. The Board congratulated the new officers and thanked the outgoing officers for their service.

Adjournment

There being no more business before the Board, the annual meeting was adjourned at 7:08 p.m. on a MOTION by Trustee D’Ambrosio, seconded by Trustee Furth.
