New York Supreme Court Law Library – Westchester
The New York Supreme Court Law Library of Westchester is the largest Supreme Court Library south of Albany and is complete in its scope of American as well as English publications. Holdings include not only a complete New York law library, but also include coverage for all states including the District of Columbia. Moreover, the library also maintains a collection of federal materials. In addition, the library is a depository for cases on appeal for each of the Four Appellate Departments and the Court of Appeals. The present collection is comprised of over 100,000 volumes and is considered one of the finest and more comprehensive in the state. The library allows public access and is maintained for the convenience and free use of the judicial and non-judicial personnel, county employees, attorneys, students, and the general public.

The Office for the Self-Represented has been established in Westchester County by Hon. Francis A. Nicolai, Administrative Judge of the Ninth Judicial District, to ensure that Self-Represented Litigants have clear and unencumbered access to the Supreme Court of New York State. The Office provides basic information to Self-Represented Litigants on procedural matters, court rules and statutes. Some forms and informational brochures are also available. Under no circumstances can the Office provide you with legal advice.
