Young at Heart:
61 Extraordinary American tell how to Defy Age with Zest, Work & Healthy Lifestyles

by

Anne Snowden Crosman (Book Publishers network, 2nd edition, 2005)

Inspired by her own parents' graceful aging, Ms. Crosman interviewed hundreds of older people who continue to lead vibrant lives. The answers she received to the question "What is your secret of living long and well?" are as varied and enlightening as her subjects. Lyrical in its prose, inspiring in its content, Young at Heart communicates a universal message that will never grow old. Anne Crosman has been a CBS and NBC Radio Network reporter/ newscaster, magazine columnist, and written for The Washington Post, The Christian Science Monitor and Voice of America.

Join us at the Annual Meeting of the Friends of the Library on Sunday, May 21 at 2 pm,

where Ms. Crosman will talk about her book and present a sampling of the many enlightening and exclusive conversations with hundreds of seniors, including Gordon Parks, Skitch Henderson, Les Paul, Steve Allen and Ruth Stafford Peale.

Books will be available for sale and signing following the talk.
