At the White Plains Public Library we are changing people's lives, and the White Plains Library Foundation is our indispensable partner in this effort. Every day people visit and discover new talents, new interests and opportunities. With gifts and grants, the Foundation sponsors projects that create ever more powerful choices for our community:

• Delivering stellar technology-based services
• Reinventing library spaces
• Supporting parents in their role as child's first teacher
• Getting children ready to read
• Providing free after-school programs
• Helping job seekers and job changers
• Giving employees new skills
• Supporting small businesses, entrepreneurs and the at-home workforce
• Informing the community about the Library's programs and services.
  

More programs and the funding to support them are needed for our diverse community. With your gift, the Foundation can continue to enhance library services through projects that have lasting impact on children, families, seniors and the whole community.
